How much is Elterngeld?

At least €300 and at most €1,800 per month. You will receive €300 if you were not employed, and a maximum of €1,800 if 65% to 67% of your salary exceeds that amount.

How long does the right to payment of Elterngeld last?

Depending on which model you have chosen. From a minimum of 2 months to a maximum of 24 months.
